At The End Of The Day, Did I?
"Each day we have the opportunity to learn something new, apologize for our mistakes, and become better." - Lewis Howes
Here are a few end-of-the-day questions to ask yourself:
- Did I start out my day with gratitude and thankfulness?
- Did I allow myself to focus on all the blessings in my life today instead of contemplating the things I don't have?
- Did I take 100% responsibility for every aspect of my life and understand that life happens for me, not to me?
- Did I control what was in my control and master my thoughts, my attitude and my actions?
- Did I make a conscious choice just to be positive and happy today, no matter what is happening in my own life?
- Did I live in the moment, and was I present in understanding the power of right now?
- Did I let go today, let go of resentments and unforgiveness that I have been holding onto, to myself and to others?
- Did I keep my word today, no matter how simple a promise I may have made, knowing it meant a whole lot to someone else?
- Did I learn something new today, something about life, something about myself, something about another that I didn't know before?
- Did I stop caring about what other people think of me, and give myself permission to be who I am understanding that I am enough just the way I am?
- Did I work on my belief in myself and my abilities?
- Did I seek to challenge the status quo and think differently?
- Did I take action to innovate, develop, simplify or improve someone or something and work to leave it better than I found it?
- Did I look for teeny tiny improvements I could make immediately?
- Did I contribute something to the world today?
- Did I work to add value to other people's lives?
- Did I take the time to really listen to someone today, and seek to learn, to understand and to find out how truly amazing they are?
- Did I add humor or levity in some way and make someone smile or laugh today?
- Did I seek opportunities for intentional acts of kindness, to everyone and everything that crossed my path?
- Did I let go of my attachment to being right today, and open my mind to the possibility of another way, without judgment?
- Will someone sleep better tonight because of me? Will they awaken in the morning believing in themselves again, and walk with their head held high?
- Was I the answer to someone's prayers today?
- Was I a self-starter, self-motivator, a linchpin, a success and a winner today?
- Did I face fears head on and take action anyway?
- Did I speak and act with confidence and authority?
- Did I implement persistence and perseverance, drive and determination?
- Did I intentionally seek to live today with purpose, and on purpose?
- Did I live my life today with passion and enthusiasm, to the fullest?
- If today was to be my last day on the planet, would I feel happy about how I lived it?
Make today great!
