The Strength For Tomorrow
Don't wish it were easier; wish you were better. Don't wish for less problems; wish for more skills. Don't wish for less challenges; wish for more wisdom.
We may wish for an easier life at times, but we know that the way we handle ourselves in the difficult periods is what truly shapes who we are. The people we admire the most aren't those who’ve had everything given to them. They're the people who have had to work hard and suffered through to achieve what they have achieved.
I can handle life's tragedies and setbacks. I don't welcome these events, but I recognize that they have much more to do with defining your character than happy times do. Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. The struggle that you’re in today is developing the strength you’ll need for tomorrow.
The more you’ve struggled to heal yourself and love yourself, the more inspiring your story will be to others when you come out the other side full of triumph, awareness and honor. Don’t give up, don’t give in. You were given this life because you're strong enough to live it. Your struggle today is your source of wisdom tomorrow.
May the strength that you have obtained from the difficulties you've endured help you achieve the goals you desire and the life you deserve! And, remember to be kind to one another, knowing that everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.
Make today great!
