Happy World Health Day 2021

Happy World Health Day 2021!
Every April 7, the World Health Organization chooses to highlight a special theme current in the wellness and medical world. Ranging from mental health, to insurance, and everything in between. This day sets the tone for what’s to come in the world stage, and this year’s theme is "Building a fairer, healthier world."
World Health Day is a day to reaffirm our gratitude and appreciation to all those who work day and night to keep our planet healthy. A shout out to all of the health care workers, and organizations focused on serving this mission.
The COVID-19 pandemic has emphasized the value and importance of our health. Many of us have come to realize this over the course of the past year. Life is short, and unpredictable. As individuals, in general, we all need to take better care of ourselves, our loved ones, and each other. We need to do a better job focusing on our own health and wellness. Do better, be better.
I know we couldn't have predicted or prepared for a global pandemic. But we can all do our part to try to live healthier lives on a regular basis. You can't control what goes on outside, but you can control what goes on inside. We all have the ability to affect what we 'feed' into our bodies, both literally and figuratively.
- Focus on strengthening your mental health and state of mind.
- Focus on building your physical fitness health.
- Focus on improving your bodies nutritional health.
- Focus on creating a safer and healthier environment around you.
- Focus on developing your social well-being.
- Focus on creating healthier habits, that lead to a more gratifying and happier life.
There are so many things you can do. You don't have to completely change or work on everything all at once. But work to improve, one day at a time. What could you do today that could lead to healthier living? What one small decision or step could you make?
This has been weighing on my mind, and has come to light in many ways over the past couple of months. I am focusing in on living a healthier life. I hope you will too! Take care of yourself. Take care of your loved ones. Set the example for others to follow. Be safe and well, my friends.
Make today great!
Curtis
