Start With The Right Attitude

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.

  • Attitude…to me, is more important than facts.  It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think, say or do.
  • It is more important than appearances, giftedness or skill.
  • It will make or break a company, an organization, work group, family, home or person.
  • The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.
  • We cannot change the past.  We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.  We cannot change the inevitable.
  • The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.

I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me, and 90% how I react to it.  And so it is with you…we are in charge of our attitudes." - Charles Swindoll

Our attitude is the environment we carry with us at all times during the day. It proclaims to the world what we think of ourselves and indicates the sort of person we have made up our minds to be.

It is our best friend or our worst enemy. It is a thing which draws people to us or repels them. It is more honest and more consistent than our words. It is an outward look based on past experiences.

It is never content until it is expressed. It is the librarian of our past. It is the speaker of our present. It is the prophet of our future. It is the person we will become.

It is our Attitude...and the best part is, you choose it! Attitude is 100% under your control. Happiness, fulfillment and satisfaction in life ALWAYS and ONLY comes as a consequence of some other activity.  It takes awareness, focus and a choice.  At any moment you can change your attitude and instantly change the path of your entire day. How is your attitude today?

Conversely, always remember that a bad attitude is like a flat tire…you can't go anywhere until you change it. Make today a great day!

"You have to start with the right attitude. In everything you do you must have the right mindset first. You have to get your head in the game to get, be and stay motivated." - Curtis Hirata
