Good Food For Thought..."Start EACH day A#1"
Sometimes we tend to overlook the importance a positive attitude makes on the forming of, and the outcome of each day. Even more importantly it is critical to START out EACH day focusing on this aspect. You will be amazed at the change in the quality of your days.
Here's how to start EACH day "A"#1. Each and Every morning take 15-20 minutes to work on the following:
ATTITUDE:
Start with your attitude. Like I always say, EVERYTHING begins with your attitude. You have to start with the right frame of mind. Like the professional athlete preparing for a game. If they are not mentally prepared to carry out the game plan, the only way they will win is if they get lucky. They must want to win and prepare themselves mentally to win. The same goes for each of us as we approach each day. You have to WANT to have a good day. Therefore we must mentally prepare ourselves for each day. If you are not in the habit of doing this daily, it may take some work initially. But sooner than you think it will become a conscious habit. Know what you want and what you need to do to get it.
ASKING:
The law of attraction states that once we know what we want, we need to ASK for it. It's okay to ask for things. Make the decision and release it out into the universe. You will be suprised at what comes back. It's okay to dream. It is okay to desire. What do you want?
AFFIRMATIONS: An affirmation is a thought our statement that describes a goal in its already completed state. Focus on the positive. Believe in your dreams. Believe that you deserve to have these things. Believe that you can and will achieve these things. Clarify these images in your mind and visualize the things you desire as if you have already achived it. Practices verbalizing your gratitude for these things as if they have already happened. Start out each affirmation "I am...", as if to command your subconscious to make it happen. "I am thoroughly enjoying this fantastic day".
ALIGNMENT: How is your mental focus alignment? Just like the alignment of your tires on your car. If they are not in alignment, your car will not go straight. Or it will struggle to go straight. The tires are your focused tasks or things you need to do in order to get where you want to be. Keep your goals and dreams in mind, and try to align your tasks with these goals and dreams. This will help you to prioritize your tasks to achieve things quicker, and help you focus on getting done the things that matter most.
ACTION: There is no re-action, without action. We must DO to achieve. Like a movie director, the plan doesn't begin to formulate untiil the director shouts "Action" as if to positively command..."Let's get to work". So we now know we must be in the right frame of mind first, ask for what we want, reaffirm our thoughts as if we have already achieved them, and we must mentally align our focused tasks to tie into our hopes,dreams and desires...now we must DO something about it. Let's get to work & begin to take action.
AWARENESS: Along the way, it is also key to be aware of the changes as they are taking place. Something good happens, take a second to recogize it and let it feed right back into your positive attitude. Be thankful for it. "Thank you for that 'green light' at the intersection", "Thank you for that parking spot right up front".
Doing this regularly and making it a daily habit will set you up to be ready for EACH DAY as it unfolds itself. I guarantee you that it can and WILL make a positive difference...if you believe in it, and take action to make it happen. You will be better prepared to celebrate the good things that happen each day, and better prepared to make the right choices when things happen to try to ruin your attitude, or ruin your day.
